Public Works Worker I

The Town of Hayden Public Works Department is currently accepting applications for the position of Public Works Worker I. Candidates should be someone who is willing and able to grow in their role with the Town of Hayden through the Public Works Department. Employee should be a hard worker, proactive, willing to learn, and be a team player.

 

Department: Public Safety

Wage Status: Hourly, Full Time

Wage Range:$23.12 – 29.51/hr DOQ

Supervised by: Public Works Director and/or Public Works Superintendent

Benefits

Vacation and Sick Time: Accrues up to 3 weeks of vacation and 12 days sick time annually. 

Health, Dental, and Vision: The Town provides 100% employer paid coverage for the employee and their family.

Hayden Police Department

POLICE Sergeant

Sergeants are responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the day-to-day operations with the knowledge and capability to perform all the essential functions of a police officer. They provide leadership regarding the appropriate course of action in routine, urgent, emergency, and adverse situations; promote and facilitate the tenants of community policing; and ensure compliance concerning policies, procedures, regulations, laws, and ordinances. Sergeants provide direct supervision, guidance, and mentorship to the sworn and civilian personnel under their authority.

Wage Range: $38.23 – $48.80/hr, depending on qualifications

POLICE Officer – Lateral

Protects the lives, safety, health, welfare and property of individuals within the corporate limits of Hayden by enforcing municipal, state and federal ordinances, statutes and laws. Incumbents may be assigned to the Investigations Division, Patrol Division, and/or any special assignments as necessary. The position includes incumbents with full technical and operational capabilities in police practices gained through extensive training and experience. Does related work as required.

This position offers the opportunity for qualified candidates to be sponsored/sent to a Colorado police academy and transition to a sworn Police Officer position.
