About The Hayden Parks & Recreation Board
The Hayden Parks & Recreation (HPR) Board is a volunteer Board made up of nine community members that are approved by Town Council. The HPR Board helps plan and implement recreation activities and events. The HPR Board also works with Parks & Recreation Staff to achieve an extensive diversity of recreation activities. Current programs and events include Peewee Wrestling, Baseball, Softball, Soccer, Football, Basketball, Toddler Open Gym, Stokes Gulch Moto-X, Cog Run, Hayden Daze, Easter Egg Hunt, Harvest Festival and It’s Summer Somewhere.

The mission of the Hayden Parks and Recreation Department is to provide well-maintained parks, open spaces, and recreational facilities, a quality offering of youth and adult organized sports, and innovative events that serve to inspire residents and visitors while promoting a healthful lifestyle and positive sense of mountain community.
The Parks & Recreation Board meets the fourth Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at Hayden Center and the public is invited to attend.
