Every year, the Town Council identifies the key priorities that will lead to better lives for our neighbors. Those priorities lead to projects, which always require funding to complete. During the annual budgeting process, the Town Council and Administrative Staff determine which projects can be funded based on projected Town revenue. Because the Town of Hayden is managed by a fiscally responsible team, some projects have to wait until funding can be secured.
In the desire to better our community every year to the best of our ability, the Town of Hayden Community Fund was established in 2020 by the Yampa Valley Community Foundation. This fund is used to supplement the Town Revenue and supports approved projects in the Town of Hayden.
All of these funds go to support projects that will improve the lives of our neighbors.
