When local entrepreneur Kaitlyn Mueller (née Kreitzman) founded Off the Grid Agency in the cozy mountain town of Hayden, she brought with her a creative spirit and a clear mission: help small, passionate businesses tell their stories with compelling design and branding that feels as authentic as the Yampa Valley itself.

Kaitlyn’s journey to entrepreneurship wasn’t a straight line. After earning her MBA in Digital Marketing and cutting her teeth in various graphic design roles for multiple brands and agencies (as well as freelance work) she realized there was a real need for thoughtful, custom creative work tailored to smaller brands who sometimes feel overlooked by larger agencies, and overwhelmed by the prospect of telling a compelling brand story. In 2020, she answered that call and Off the Grid Agency was born.

At its heart, Off the Grid Agency is a full-service graphic design and branding studio rooted right here in Hayden. From logos and visual identities to branding packages, illustration work, and custom website design, Kaitlyn’s team takes the anxiety out of marketing and turns it into an enjoyable process. She describes working with clients like guiding them along a trail — starting at a broad idea, and together finding the clearest, most impactful path forward. While she offers different service packages, she takes a unique approach to each client, determining their unique needs and tailoring her offerings to fit.
