Press Release: Town of Hayden to Restrict Public Access

March 16, 2020 – To slow the spread of coronavirus, the Town of Hayden will be restricting public access to the Town Hall beginning March 16, 2020 at 5pm till at least April 7th, 2020 and may be extended as needed to protect the public and essential Town staff.

Effective immediately, public access to Town Hall will not be permitted in order to protect the health and safety of the public and essential Town staff. Offices in Town Hall include finance, utility billing, planning, building, public works, administration. Deliveries of supplies will still be accepted.

All essential governmental services will continue to operate providing water, sewer, police, finance, administration, planning, trash/sanitation and essential government services. Our commitment to the Town has never been stronger.

We will continue to take utility payments in our drop box at the front door or online at https://haydencolorado.org/town-government/town-clerk/utility-billing/. We encourage anyone with questions to reach out at 970-276-3741 and someone will be answering and available to help the public.

The health of Hayden and Routt County – including our staff, residents, businesses, and visitors – is critically important to us, so we will be following best practice advice from health experts to reduce contact and public gatherings.
