Snowplow Icon

Please be courteous and respectful of the snowplow operators. Please don’t park in the street right-of-ways, and give them at least five feet from the edge of the pavement so they can keep the streets completely plowed.

Don’t forget to maintain your water meter in the winter. It is the account holder’s responsibility to keep it from freezing.

WINTER PLOWING PROCEDURE AND PARKING RESTRICTIONS

During the winter season, the Town of Hayden plows all Town streets, except for U.S. Highway 40. To assist with our snow-removal operations, parking on streets, alleys or highways is unlawful between the hours of 12:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. from November 1 to April 30. Violators are subject to ticketing and/or towing at the vehicle owner’s expense.

All property owners are responsible for keeping their sidewalks clear of ice and snow. Snow and ice must be removed within 24 hours of the termination of falling snow.
